Our
story

"A dress is not
a garment.
It is an intention."

The beginning

Born in Dubai,
worn everywhere

Rêve de Karine began the way most things do — not with a business plan, but with a feeling. A feeling that the women around me deserved dresses that were made with the same care they gave to every other decision in their lives.

I opened the atelier in Dubai because this city understands what it means to dress for an occasion that matters. From a gala to a wedding, from a state dinner to a quiet birthday dinner that is really an anniversary of something no one else knows — every woman here has a reason to get dressed.

The atelier

Slow work,
made by hand

Every piece that leaves the atelier has been through many hands — the cutter who knows how bias moves, the embroideress who has done this particular stitch ten thousand times, the finisher who will undo and redo a seam until the inside is as beautiful as the outside.

We work with the finest European fabrics: silks from Lyon, satins from Como, tulles from Calais. We commission nothing we would not wear ourselves.

What we believe

Fit over fashion

A beautiful dress on the wrong body is just fabric. We begin every conversation with the woman, not the collection.

Time is a material

We give each piece as long as it needs. That might be a week longer than expected. It is always worth it.

One dress, one occasion

We design for moments: the night of the gala, the last dance, the entrance. We want every piece to be remembered.
